Get to know Cami

Hey there! I'm Cami a 20 something little runt (yeah I'm 4'11" I call that "runty") who bakes cupcakes! 

More accurately my skills involve being a wife, momma, teacher, mustache lover, and cupcake baker!

I'm a wife...

I got married in May of 2012 to my best friend in the whole wide world! We met my freshman year of college and actually got set up by his great aunt, my grandma, and my mom (!) over facebook! But that's a long (and super cute!) story for another time... As soon as I met this boy I knew there was something special about him (even though he drove me a little crazy!) and turns out... I was right!!

I'm a Momma....

Yes, this little 4'11" frame is expecting! My first Mini Hall is expected to arrive September 2nd! The Hubs and I could not be more thrilled for our little girl! I am so excited to have my own little assistant baker & cupcake taster soon enough! I have been having so much fun watching my belly grow, decorating the nursery, and reading stories to my little cupcake!

I'm a Teacher...

This is me, this year in my favorite sweater! (seriously it's my favorite... I would wear it every day if that sort of thing was publicly acceptable...)

I am a recent Elementary Education graduate from Brigham Young University. I have loved every grade I have taught and would have no idea which to pick given the choice! (Though I'm leaning towards second...)

Though I am not teaching currently, I am 100% positive I have found my calling in teaching and am excited to return once my little one starts school! 

I'm a Mustache Lover...

What can I say about this... well, I'm probably 50% creepy...

But I can't help it, I have been hit over the head (apparently way to much!) by the mustache craze!

 

I don't know what it is about mustaches... but I am officially obsessed....

You can tell by my mustache board on pinterest... yeah I have one of those...

(that's how you know I'm cool!)

 Since I trust you, dearest reader, I'm going to show you just how creepy I am...

This is my adorable mustache art that I painted... and it may or may not hang on a wall in my house.... (what can I say... my husband still thinks I'm cute!)

 I'm a cupcake baker...

Ever since the summer before I started college I have been infatuated with cupcakes... 

My obsession is mostly with cupcakes; however, you can often spot me baking other things as well (I'm not a one trick pony!)

The funny thing is... I DO NOT LIKE to COOK! I Only like to bake!  

(good thing my husband can be nourished by eating only sweets and treats... right?!?) 

Anyway... I was bit by the baking bug "real good" that summer and ever since then haven't been able to stop! And, (warning: tooting my own horn) I've gotten quite good if I do say so myself!

Now granted, I'm no where near Cupcake Wars level! But one day I will get there, that is my cupcake dream! And, I will get that good by making one little cupcake at a time!

And by apparently attempting to Pin every cupcake on the planet-- At least you'd think so with my almost 2,000 pins to my cupcake board! (oh dang, I really am crazy!)

 Well...That's a little about me! Just a silly little baker with big dreams, and a big soul!  

I hope I one day get to know a little about you too!
